Leone di Cieli ver. Vongola, nicknamed Nuts[1] or Natsu, is a Sky-attribute Animal-type Box Weapon. It is the exclusive Vongola Box Weapon for Tsunayoshi Sawada and can transform into a cloak. And when combined with Tsuna's X-Gloves, upgrades them into gauntlets. Both the cloak and gauntlets are based after Vongola Primo's own set.
Description[]
The Leone di Cieli ver. Vongola was created by remodeling a Leone di Cieli with the Vongola's latest technology. Its figure is that of a small lion cub that acts like its master in and out of battle, going from a serious, powerful animal to a timid, easily frightened cub. As they are both based on the same Box Animal, Nuts has some similarities to Xanxus' Ligre Tempesta di Cieli.
It was first opened incorrectly and appeared in a monstrous shape, a mirror of Tsuna's own uncertainties.
Abilities[]
- Scratching (引っ掻き, Hikkaki?)
- Biting (噛み付き, Kamitsuki?)
- Lacerating (噛みちぎり, Kamichigiri?)
- Purring (ゴロゴロ, Goro-goro?)
- Ruggito di Cieli
Cambio Forma[]
Modo Difesa[]
Mantello di Vongola Primo[2][3] (
Through the future Vongola technology, Tsuna is able to use this weapon through Nuts. The cloak has the Roman Numeral "I" on the front to symbolize the connection to the Vongola Primo.
The cloak has the ability to nullify attacks using the Sky Flame's Harmony characteristic. The Sky-attribute of the cloak even has the ability to turn Box Animals into stone.
After unlocking the Original Vongola Rings, the metal band of the cloak with the Roman Numeral I gains several sharp spikes.
Modo Attacco[]
Combining Nuts with Tsuna's Version V. R. X-Gloves forms Mitena di Vongola Primo (
The gauntlet is decorated with the Roman Numeral "I" on the front to symbolize the connection to the Vongola Primo and is based on Giotto's I-Gloves.
When Tsuna focuses all his Flames onto his fist for a single attack, his Gloves change and are capable of delivering a devastating punch to the enemy.
After unlocking the Original Vongola Rings, the gauntlet gains several sharp spikes and more power.
- Big Bang Axle:[4][5] (ビッグバンアクセル, Biggu Ban Akuseru?) An ability using Modo Attaco, Mitena di Vongola Primo. Tsuna concentrates Sky Flames in his fist to deliver a powerful punch which is said to rival the X-Burner in power.
- Burning Axle:[6][7] (バーニングアクセル, Bāningu Akuseru?) A more powerful version of the Big Bang Axle. It was used after the unsealing of the Original Vongola Ring. Unlike how the Big Bang Axle was easily negated by Byakuran's White Applause, the Burning Axle, even at 50% power, was able to damage Byakuran's hands when he tried to negate it the same way he negated the previous technique. Showing the amount of power it had gained from the Original Vongola Sky Ring.
Trivia[]
- Its Japanese name (ナッツ, Nattsu?) is the inverse of Tsuna's name in katakana, excluding the sokuon "ッ".
- When Reborn wanted a pet for Tsuna, he had suggested a lion.[citation needed]
- Nuts gets along with Enma, letting Enma pet him and play with him. This made him initially hesitate to fight Enma.[citation needed]
- Nuts doesn't get along well with Uri due to his cowardly behavior and Uri's aggressiveness.[citation needed]
- "Mitena" are a type of Italian fingerless glove. They covered the hand and the individual fingers, but only up to the phalanx. They were common until the beginning of the 20th century and usually made of knitted or cotton wool to keep warm while allowing the use of "free" fingers.[8]
