Lussuria wears an open Varia trench coat and has brown hair with a side part of green hair. He has an extremely muscular build, and his favored battle style is Muay Thai. Lussuria has a metal plate over his left knee used to block physical attacks and cause his opponents to heavily damage themselves. He habitually wears dark sunglasses and his coat has a large orange fur around the hood. In the Future arc, Lussuria's appearance has changed, he wears the new Varia uniform and has a red Mohawk and wears a Varia ring on his hand, It is not known whether or not Lussuria has difficulty in his eyesight since he states "I can't see" when his glasses are removed.

[edit] Varia Arc
Lussuria participated in the Sun Ring Battle for the Varia against Ryohei of Tsuna's Family. He was surprised at first when he thought Ryohei used the pressure from his punches to shoot the lights out, when only the original Sun Guardian could do something like that. But then calls it a low-level technique and easily copies it. He manages to block Ryohei's Maximum Cannon once, and another time when he flipped backward in order to take little to no visible damage. However, when he jumped up to finish the last blow with a metal-plated leg drop, Ryohei's Maximum Cannon broke the plate and made his leg unusable, effectively ending his use of Muay Thai. He tried to continue the fight but Xanxus had Gola Mosca knock him out as failure for his loss. He was later seen at the Sky Ring battle, now strapped to a stretcher but forced to participate none the less though there was very little he can do in his condition. He was cured from the Death Heater poison thanks to Ryohei giving him the antidote.

Lussuria was with Squalo seemingly during all 101 battle to become the next Sword Emperor. He witnessed the battle between Squalo and Genkishi. Lussuria was fooled when Genkishi faked his loss.
[edit] Melone Base Invasion
Lussuria, in the same time frame that Tsuna and his family where assaulting Melone Base, was in Italy battling the main Millefiore forces with the rest of the Varia. He and the rest of the core Varia(minus Xanxus, Gola Mosca, and Mammon, were under the temporary leadership of Squalo. He and Leviathan split into a group while Belphegor and Fran, and Squalo by himself were the two others. He, during the battle, was mostly resigned to using his Serenity Peacock to heal the injured Varia that came to him. However, he told them they would have to deal with the nail and hair growth themselves.
He later appears alongside Belphegor, Xanxus & Leviathan, who rescue Lal Mirch, Gokudera and Gamma.

- Strangely, the form of martial art Reborn said he was a master of, whilst disguised as Master Paopao, was Muay Thai.
- Lussuria did not have a mohawk during the time Squalo was fighting his 101 opponents. How he grown a mohawk in a short period of time could be the use of his Serenity Peacock's sun activation flames.
- In the anime, Hana refers to Ryohei's visit in Italy to being to visit an okama, japanese for male transvestite. But it was translated by Viz Media as being 'gay guy'
- Lussuria sometimes takes control of Haru's show when there's some time left in the episode. He plays the role of Varia's "mother".
- In the anime Future Arc, lower-ranked Varia agents referred to Lussuria as "Lussuria Nee-san" which translates to "Big Sis Lussuria."
