The chapters of the manga series for Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, or Reborn! for short, are written and drawn by Akira Amano and have been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump by Sueisha since the beginning. The series centers around the life of Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada, a timid failure of a boy who learns he is the great-great-great-grandson of the founder of the Italian Vongola Crime Famiglia. Tsuna, who is the only living heir, must learn to become a proper Mafia Boss and is required to undergo training from the Vongola's number one Hitman, an infant named Reborn. Each chapter is referred to as "Target" and is still ongoing in Japan. Viz Media has licensed the manga for an English language release in North America. Besides Japanese and English, the manga is translated in French, Spanish, and German. The individual chapters are published in tankobon volumes by Shueisha. The first volume was released on October 4, 2004. The manga was later on developed into a anime.

The manga was later on developed into an anime.
