Koenig was an arms-dealer. He, along with Innocenti and Verde, the latter being the Lightning Arcobaleno, were the three scientists who created the Box Weapons and sold them to the Mafia Famiglias after discovering Lorenzini's blueprints. Most of his creations are weapons or equipment rather than animals. After his fellow Box Weapon creators died of unnatural causes, he went into hiding underground, selling weapons for a living.
