Chiavorone Family

The Cavallone Family (キャバッロネファミリー, Kyabarrone Famirī?) is the number three family in the mafia alliance together with the Vongola Family. The family is one of the largest, with 5,000 members at its disposal. It is currently being led by the 10th Generation Boss, Dino. Dino was Reborn's previous pupil before Tsuna and, as a result of Reborn's training, he is quite a capable mafia Boss. He has single handedly raised the Cavallone family to a prominent position by fixing their finances. To tie in with the Dino's nick name Bucking Horse and his box weapon, the name of the family Cavalloni means the 'White Horse' in Itallian.

[edit] Daily Life Arc
Dino, along with a great number of Cavallone Family members, originally came from Italy to Tsuna's house to evaluate him and his family. During this period, Dino frequently provided tests or activities for Tsuna, and his family, to perform.
[edit] Varia Arc
Since it was an internal Vongola Family matter the Cavallone Family couldn't interfere with the Vongola Ring Battle directly, however they did provide supporting role in Tsuna's Family's struggle against the Varia. Dino personally trained Kyoya Hibari and helped convince him to become Tsuna's Cloud Guardian, although Hibari still denies being apart of Tsuna's Family. Also, the Cavallone Family saved Squalo's life after the Rain Ring Battle and helped coax information about Xanxus's true origins from him after the Sky Ring Battle.

Leonardo Lippi first mentioned that the Cavallone Family were fighting the Millefiore's 14th "Tulipano" Squand in a deadlock, Byakuran wasn't surprised.
Next, Bel mentions that "Bucking Horse" (Dino's nickname) would've been helpful for the Main Base invasion in Italy that the Varia were performing at the same time as the Melone Base invasion, but unfortunately he was sent to Japan. Back in Japan, Dino arrives in the time between the Melone Base invasion and Choice to start tutoring Tsuna's Guardians. He is the one that assigns the tutors to each of the guardians, and once again tutors Hibari personally.
Dino snuck in during the transfer to Choice where he aids in taming Hibari's overexcitement to fight. He is currently helping the Vongola in escaping back to Namimori.
